Weekend Nachos - Unforgivable LP

To be honest, I'm a big WN fan, but when a lot of people told me the new album "Unforgivable" was too posh, too slow and not as good as the previous work I was somewhat worried. And yes, "Unforgivable is somewhat slower than previous releases, it sounds a bit more hardcore indeed, but not as good as previous releases?? Nah. It's still Weekend Nachos and it still rules the shit out of most "hardcore" bands. What makes WN so different from the rest you ask? Well for starters they're probably the heaviest band at this moment, playing this type of hardcore. "Unforgivable" eats bands like Hatebreed alive when it comes to heavyness, really, even though they haven't used 40k to record it. The breakdowns are skullfracturing, the sludgy parts make your intestines tremble, ... And like most bands WN is also pissed off, but this band takes "being pissed off" to the next level. Everybody and everything has a crosshair pointed at their skull, with WN ready to pull the trigger and they're not afraid to take a few bullets themselves by saying shit people in "the scene" might not like to hear. So my conclusion: "Unforgivable" might have a few small differences with older work, that's only normal I guess, but it's still a WN album and that means it's still a very good album too!
